Sleek, artistic, personal, and contemporary are words best described for Porte, a cult brand that combines the elements of fashion and photography altogether, named after the word "portrait". Started in 2011 by four creatives from Jakarta, which are Emily May Gunawan, Rania Sembiring, Tiza Nasution, and Zefanya Kezia, Porte has a vision to conceive and develop a brand offering highly coveted products based on conceptual photographs. Porte infused essential photography element into a versatile and staple wardrobe collection for women, ranging from printed crop top, tailored trousers, to raw mineral accessories. Every collection forms a concept that could tell a story, but each piece can also be worn separately and effortlessly be mixed with other brands. By designing lean silhouette, minimalist aesthetic, finely detailed, and reasonable price, Porte aims to let people wear a work-of-art into daily life and create modern framework for individuality.
