Fbudi

With an appreciation of the human form... a love of texture and textiles...

The brand which takes casual wear to a new exciting level is created. At the focal point of fbudi’s work ethos is innovation - constant experimentation. Using a mannequin, materials are swathed, draped, moulded, de- and re-constructed, according to the body’s contours, in order to ensure a pattern which will not only be cutting edge, but one that complements the human body.

fbudi is the birth child of the talented designer Felicia Budi, who studied fashion design and pattern cutting in London College of Fashion. Her depth of knowledge is enhanced with valuable skills she gained at the celebrated womenswear designer ISSA London. Felicia Budi developed an eye for details while working at BIN House, which exposed her to the intricacies of Indonesian textiles.

The element of craftsmanship which is distinctive of traditional Indonesian textiles is translated into something utterly unique. fbudi seamlessly integrates comfort and style, introducing the young adults of Indonesia a new way of expression through a dichotomy of traditional tailoring discipline and a modern fashion direction.
